In response to global trends in technological revolution and industrial transformation, and to deepen international academic exchange and industry-academia collaboration in embodied intelligent robotics, the 2026 International Conference on Embodied Intelligent Robots and Intelligent Science (EIRIS 2026) will be held from October 23 to 25, 2026, in Wenzhou, China. As one of the parallel session of the 2026 World Young Scientist Summit, the conference is organized by the China Europe Scientists Forum and co-organized by the Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University, with support from the ASIASIM, Xidian University Hangzhou Institute of Technology, the World Association of Young Scientists, and the Oversea Chinese Technology and Innovation Association (OSCTIA).
EIRIS 2026 features a "1+3+N" framework—comprising one plenary session, three concurrent thematic forums, and multiple satellite events. Focusing on four major themes—Foundational Theories and Core Technologies of Embodied Intelligence, Robotic Systems and Hardware Architectures, Intelligent Systems and Industrial Applications, and Machine Learning and Autonomous Evolution—the conference explores the complete technological pipeline from fundamental algorithms and hardware innovation to industrial deployment. Drawing on the "Simulation + AI" academic platform of the Asian Simulation Federation, the European research network of the Sino-European Scientist Forum, and the industry-oriented "Embodied Intelligence Training Ground" at Xidian University Hangzhou Institute of Technology, the conference brings together leading scholars and industry pioneers from around the world. It aims to advance the development of simulation benchmarks and standards for embodied intelligence, foster international scientific collaboration and technology transfer, and accelerate global progress in intelligence science and robotics.
The conference capitalizes on Wenzhou's extensive application scenarios and digital transformation needs in sectors such as electrical machinery, automotive components, and intelligent manufacturing. With the goal of establishing a complete technological chain—spanning frontier sensing, intelligent algorithms, simulation validation, and industrial deployment—EIRIS 2026 convenes young scientists from around the world to promote the deep integration of embodied intelligence technologies into industrial applications, thereby catalyzing the industrial upgrading of Wenzhou and the broader Yangtze River Delta region. Furthermore, EIRIS 2026 will establish a robust framework for international research collaboration and resource sharing with the "Embodied Intelligent Robotics Parallel Forum" of the Sino-European Scientist Forum, scheduled to be held in Germany in October, thereby expanding Sino-European academic exchange and industrial synergy in the field of embodied intelligence.
